Here I’ve added some shelving in between the wall and the murphy bed to make the most of this previously unused space. Clutter can make a tiny home feel very cozy, and gives you the chance to add as much detail to the build as possible without compromising floor space. Utilise even the tiniest spacesĮvery tiny space is the opportunity to add more clutter. You can add fencing for aesthetic if you like, just make sure you don’t finish the ‘room’ as such.
In fact, you can really utilise the outside space as much as you like as long as your not technically creating any new rooms (e.g. They don’t add to your tile count, but give the impression that your house is a lot bigger than it actually is. This is why you NEED half walls! They create handy corners for more furniture to go against, without making the house feel closed in. It’s too small to add individual rooms and whole walls make you feel squeezed in. You’ve built a teeny micro home and you’re presented with this single box room you have no idea how to floor plan.
