It is a very impressive touch screen interface that allows for a multitude of possible interactions between players and coaches. This works similar to how a manager would be able to communicate to a star player in the real life, with the player responds by tapping his foot, or talking to them using the microphone in order to get their thoughts on a certain match. What this means is that if a manager wants to bring a player into the pitch, he just taps them on the touch screen, and selects them from their device menu. The interface is pretty much the same as previous games in the series where the control scheme still feels intuitive to users, but the new Football Manager Handheld game allows managers to be able to interact with their players via their mobile devices. The game will play itself on your standard TV however if you would like to multitask or interact with another player on the game then you must connect your smartphone or tablet to your TV for it to work properly. If you have ever used a traditional PC based console before in your younger days, then you will notice how similar the interface can be to that which you would find in a modern day gaming console, especially if you are not used to using touch screens. Many of the current consoles such as Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 do not have the capability to fully support and use the game's interface therefore any assistance will be greatly appreciated. The game is played on a 3D map and the interface is fairly simple. Football Manager Handheld has been one of the more impressive and well thought out products in the gaming industry, and it comes with a very rich and engrossing interface and gameplay.
